Sr. Collections Analyst

　　Onit – Pune, Maharashtra, India – Full time ( Shift – 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST )

　　As a Sr. Collections Analyst, you will collaborate with business partners to ensure that the credit and collections process functions smoothly and efficiently. You will be the part of Finance and Accounting team in US and will assist in resolving customer billing issues and for reducing accounts receivable delinquency and acting as a liaison with our Billing Point team.

　　This role will be a key contributor to an exciting, fast-paced, high growth organization. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude and a desire to help strengthen our collection process.

　　The Role

　　Assist in resolving outstanding accounts receivables from customers (law firm customers).

　　Reach out to customers via email to initiate / negotiate payment solutions for their accounts with the aim to bring those back into good standing.

　　Have familiarity with billing functions and serve as a liaison between the Collections Department and Billing Point team.

　　Handle the assigned account / portfolio and ensure follow up in a timely manner.

　　Identify historical data and keep control on the ageing of the outstanding.

　　Understand any dispute, effectively escalate the same to concerned department (AM/Billing/Support) and follow-up for dispute resolution in specific time frame.

　　Maintain and manage tracking within third party collections tool (Tesorio).

　　Maintain effective and trusted relationship with clients through strong communication.

　　Provide daily work log to the US team for collection activity updates.

　　Mandatory Skills:

　　2-4 years of experience as a Collector.

　　Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.

　　Strong customer focus with the ability to perform outbound collections in a professional manner while adhering to Company Policy.

　　Well-developed sense of urgency and follow through.

　　Excellent communication skills (written and oral).

　　Must have good Excel skills.

　　Strong analytical and Problem-solving skills.

　　Have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
