Job Overview
The Clinical Research Coordinator Senior is responsible for participating inthe day-to-day operations of assigned clinical research programs and/orstudies conducted by Principal Investigators (PIs) at the University ofColorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Performs a variety of administrative andoperational duties involved in the collection, compilation, documentationand review of clinical research data. Supports the achievement of researchprogram and/or study objectives. Leads others in navigating the clinicalresearch environment and participates in a variety of departmental and/ordivisional initiatives. Provides oversight to Clinical Research Coordinatorsand other related team members. Works under general supervision.We are looking for a professional, team-motivated, detail-orientedindividual to provide support for both new and ongoing research projects onthe Neurology Research Team here at Children's Hospital Colorado! Theseprojects encompass industry and/or PI-initiated studies focusing ondevelopmental pediatrics, headache, and rehabilitation. In addition toexecuting job responsibilities, this role also involves mentoring newercoordinators to ensure a smooth integration into their roles.Here, we're not just leading transformative research for the sake ofinnovation. Department: Research InstituteHours per week: 40, eligible for benefitsShift: Monday - Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Work hours may vary due todepartment needs. This position may have the possibility of being hybrid uponsuccessful completion of department on-boarding/training and job performance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical research relatedexperience is requir d.Equivalency: Minimum of six (6) years of clinical research relatedexperience may be considered in lieu of minimum education and experiencerequirements.Certification(s): Designation as a Certified Clinical ResearchCoordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP)is required within six (6) months of hire. Certification in Basic LifeSupport for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association isrequired at the time of hire.Preferred Certifications: Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and InternationalAir Transport Association (IATA)Previous Clinical Research Coodinator experience preferred.
