This job offering provides an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to grow and advance in MJ’s municipal practice. We are seeking a motivated candidate with a strong interest in civil engineering that is well organized, resourceful, and creative. As a senior engineer, you will progress design concepts through design development and work with the project team to produce construction documents for a wide range of regional projects.Responsibilities:•Work in a project team to support site/civil, municipal engineering projects from initial project programming up to and through construction•Experience with municipal engineering including water, wastewater, storm water, streets, residential developments, rate studies, funding mechanisms and regulatory agencies•Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members, including subconsultants and other disciplines•Lead engineer on multi-discipline projectsRequirements•Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET- accredited college with 10 years of relevant experience•Professional Engineers License required•Technical knowledge in the use of AutoCAD, MicroStation and InRoads•Ability to work within multiple design teams and execute to meet demanding schedules•Have excellent technical writing and communication skills•Must be a U.S. citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorshipPay is based on applicant’s ability/experience and will be rated accordingly.
