　　This Opportunity

　　WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Civil Designer for our Wilmington, NC office. Candidate will be involved in projects with our Civil Engineering Team as part of the Earth & Environment Group and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

　　Your Impact

　　Effectively and efficiently utilize AutoCAD, to create engineering construction documents (CAD drawings).

　　Effectively and efficiently utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D, to create surfaces for overall site grading plans, and drainage features.

　　Ability to produce high quality and detail oriented technical and professional deliverables.

　　Efficiently make required changes, additions, and/or revisions to existing CAD drawings.

　　Assist fellow cowokers in troubleshooting and diagnosing errors with AutoCAD software and CAD issues.

　　Ability to coordinate with fellow coworkers and engineers on projects as well as with other disciplines to successfully deliver project deliverables.

　　Provide on going project and task updates regarding progress of work and effectively communicate any outstanding issues before they become problems.

　　Possess a general knowledge of engineering based concepts including drainage, grading, site layout, survey, etc.

　　Consult team on recommendations for CAD templates and standards.

　　Capable and contain overall integrity to adhere to WSP USA Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures.

　　Who You Are

　　Required Qualifications

　　A minimum of 5 years of CAD production experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software for civil design projects.

　　A minimum of a High School Diploma or Technical School Certification in Drafting/Design or Engineering

　　Extensive experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D grading design and plan production work.

　　Working knowledge of civil engineering and associated engineering disciplines.

　　Demonstates excellent communication and problem solving skills.

　　Ability to uphold workplace safety and abide by WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

　　Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

　　This role is subject to a client-mandated drug/alcohol testing policy. As such, employee may be subject to random drug/alcohol tests. A copy of this policy will be provided during employee onboarding and is available upon applicant request.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　5+ years of CAD production experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software for civil design projects.

　　Experience with Erosion & Sediment Control plans, Transmission Line Site Development plans, Substation Site Development plans, and Commercial/Industrial Site Development plans.
