　　At Qualcomm XR labs Europe we develop state-of-the-art computer vision, deep learning and graphics solutions to deliver ultra-optimised, power-efficient software and hardware to enable the intelligent perception of the world around us.

　　To scale and strengthen our offering in this domain, we are expanding and seeking candidates to help us develop the fundamental perception systems enabling self-contained XR platforms.

　　Position is for the Amsterdam, Netherlands, semi-remote is possible.

　　Responsibilities

　　Develop algorithms that run smoothly on Qualcomm designed hardware (CPU and DSP)

　　Supporting R&D team in development, optimisation of advanced perception algorithms

　　Working closely with other teams, integrating other API’s, ensuring that all modules work seamlessly

　　Design architecture of C++ modules

　　Critical “Must Have” skills/experience for role

　　5+ years of experience in professional software engineering

　　Expert knowledge of C++ (STL, Boost, Multithreading, IO)

　　Strong knowledge of CMake

　　Strong skills in algorithms, data structures, software development principles

　　Excellent communication and writing skills (English, level B2+)

　　System and analytical thinking

　　Preferred skills/experience for role

　　Additional programming languages: Python, C#, Bash

　　Experience with Conan package manager

　　Understanding of linear algebra, 3D transformations, graphics pipelines

　　Experience with Unity3D, Unreal Engine

　　Experience with AR/VR/XR development

　　Experience with Android development

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

　　OR

　　Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

　　OR

　　PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

　　• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
