　　Qualcomm is a pioneering designer and developer of silicon and software for the consumer electronics market and a global leader in wireless technology. We are looking for Audio Validation engineers for our Bangalore site.

　　An Audio Validation Engineer would be responsible for validating audio features and algorithms on our Bluetooth voice and music solutions like earbuds, headsets, and speakers.

　　The engineer would need to perform subjective and objective tests using various specialized tools and equipment’s using internal automated frameworks on python.

　　Involves contribution to test-plans, development of automated test scripts to validate different audio and functional features.

　　The candidate is expected to work with technical leads and contribute towards validating small to medium sized features within the product eco-system and participate in the validation process from start to end, resolving all dependencies.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Will be responsible for analysing new Audio features on Low-energy wireless Earbuds & Headsets and develop/create new test plans and add new test cases.

　　Executing audio test plans on target hardware as per identified plans and capture various audio metrics for THD+N, SNR, Glitches & Drops, Frequency response etc.

　　Design and implementation of Automated test-scripts for validating different audio and functional features for Bluetooth Headsets and Earbuds.

　　Provide inputs on dependencies, risks, and issues. Review Test plans, scripts and provide solutions.

　　Contribute towards continuous improvements of test coverage, execution, automation, and processes.

　　Work with cross functional teams across geographies to accomplish schedules, resolve dependencies and evaluate and re-use well known practices.

　　Engineering degree in Electronics, Electronics & Communications, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　Strong Working experience in Audio/System test of embedded systems products with strong experience in validating audio parameters on wireless products

　　Strong working experience with Audio interface protocols and codecs- ADC/DAC, I2S, DAC, PCM, PDM and other communication protocols like UART, USB, I2C.

　　Good knowledge of python scripting with interactions with embedded systems

　　Should be very well versed in using IDEs for scripting, debugging, and analyzing Python code.

　　Experienced in working with Version control systems - Perforce, Clear-Case etc.

　　Excellent communication skills: verbal and written and ability to work with cross-functional teams across different geographies.
