Job Description

　　Design, develop, test, and implement solutions using the Cognos Suite of Business Intelligence tools, Netezza, and other BI tools as needed.

　　Position is located at Aramark HQ in Philadelphia, PA but can work from anywhere in the U.S

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Design, develop, test, and implement solutions using the Cognos Suite of Business Intelligence tools, Netezza, and other BI tools as needed. Collaborate with other PTG developers and Business Analyst to ensure tightly integrated and high-quality deliverables. Create and model database tables and ETL scripts to incorporate new functionality within the Data Warehouse. Work closely with business users to ensure solutions meet business needs and provide easy access to actionable data. Perform Cognos administration functions. Install Cognos software and apply Cognos patches. Manage user access and monitor overall system performance. Administer, configure, and maintain Cognos Production and non-production environments. Provide on-call support (24x7) for Cognos/Netezza systems. Research and develop new Cognos features and other tools which will enhance the capabilities of the reporting team.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or Systems Engineering with emphasis on Data Engineering with 5 years? experience as Business Analyst, or similar business analysis occupation to include: Cognos Business Intelligence Tools (Report Studio, Framework Manager, Data Manager, Event Studio, Query Studio, Transformer); Cognos administration and strong knowledge of Cognos architecture; SQL; Oracle, SQL Server, or Netezza; full development lifecycle process, including requirements, planning, development and testing; UNIX (Linux) scripting; both relational and multi-dimensional data modeling and architecture; and OLAP models design.
