What You Will Contribute: This position will beresponsible for providing finance business support to our TurnkeyOperations team including finance / accounting support for invoicing,inventory management, related transactions and reconciliations in ourERP system and related financial analysis. While reporting into theaccounting and finance team, this role will be heavily involved with andsupporting the Turnkey Operations team. Eventually this role will expandits scope to include the bids / proposal phase of the projects andsupporting associated accounting and revenue recognition considerationsand working with technical resources within the accounting team.Business needs and priorities will dictate the required tasks, projects,and analyses to be conducted by the Senior Analyst - Turnkey Finance.Prioritization and direction of key projects will be provided by theOperational Finance Manager, the Director of Accounting & ExternalReporting, and the Director - Turnkey Operations. This is an individualcontributor (i.e. no direct reports) and project-based role that willroutinely interact with cross-functional leadership to support and aidbusiness decision-making to drive positive financial outcomes. This rolerequires flexibility both in terms of priorities as well as locationdepending upon business needs. Essential job duties: The primaryresponsibilities of the Senior Analyst - Turnkey Finance include, butare not limited to, the following activities: Assist the projectmanagers with monthly project tasks including: * Timely invoicing ofeach turnkey project including associated product, installation andancillary invoicing amounts * Recording the appropriate transactionsassociated with each turnkey project * Performing a reconciliation ofinventory on a monthly basis and supporting quarterly physical inventorycounts of each warehouse * Assisting with collections of invoices andexplaining invoiced amounts to customers as needed * Liaison with thebroader accounting team to ensure appropriate adjustments and journalentries are recorded related to each turnkey project * Providing amonthly forecast of revenue to be recognized / billed to customers tosupport the global financial projection performed by the FP&A team. *Support of turnkey projects from bid / RFP response through projectwrap-up and final closure of the project. This includes: * Dutiesmentioned above * Working with cost accounting to set up inventory partnumbers and appropriate costing * Review of quote entry into the ERPsystem * Reviewing and summarizing third party installer information todetermine monthly invoicing * Manage customer credits, as necessary *Reviewing proposed contracts for unusual elements outside of typicalproduct shipment, installation services and associated BEACON (SaaS)revenue. * Assist with and lead the implementation of finance /accounting related improvements resulting from recent Turnkey KaizenEvent. Update and revise processes in the future to meet the needs ofthe business and proper accounting activities. * Leverage existing dataand data made available through continuous improvement efforts todevelop metrics and financial analytic tools to support informeddecision making within the Turnkey Operations team.
