Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Senior Accounting Supervisor in Cheraw, South Carolina. As a key member of our team, you'll play an integral role in the financial management of our operations, with a focus on balance sheet reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounting department

• Oversee the processing and reconciliation of balance sheets

• Develop and implement strategies for financial planning and budgeting

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

• Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute organizational strategies

• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to enhance profitability

• Develop and maintain systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information

• Mentor and guide members of the accounting team to help them achieve their full potential

• Keep up-to-date with the latest accounting standards and regulations

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or similar role in Financial Department

• Solid understanding of basic and advanced accounting principles and procedures

• Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Exceptional knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

• Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel) and accounting software

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
