　　We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our fast-paced Accounting team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone interested in learning from experienced managers how start-ups work and to help grow their accounting career within a high-growth environment. This position reports to the CFO and works closely with all levels of the organization.

　　This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA.

　　This role may require up to 10% travel.

　　Scope of Responsibilities

　　Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process including preparing monthly financial statements

　　Assist in developing and running various reports in Salesforce, Quickbooks, and NetSuite for research and analysis purposes

　　Prepare general ledger entries to record monthly activity

　　Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts receivable, fixed assets, various liability accruals, and prepaid expenses

　　Prepare deferred revenue schedule including updating schedule for any changes in customer balances as situations dictate

　　Assist with audit and tax schedule and notes preparation as necessary

　　Input vendor bills and monitor third-party accounts payable integration; review and process employee expense reports and other company credit card transactions into accounts payable; review coding for proper GL classification as well as department based on the type and purpose of the expense

　　Upload all bills, receipts, and associated documents to electronic filing system

　　Assist with the implementation of accounts payable solution

　　Assist with the preparation of annual 1099s and gathering W-9s

　　Interface with insurance brokers to maintain compliance with client, vendor, and governmental agency requirements

　　Assist with the maintenance of GL accounts and departments

　　Maintain a filing system in a central repository

　　Qualifications

　　U.S. Citizenship is requiredRequired Skills:

　　BA/BS or equivalent experience in Accounting

　　3-8 years of general ledger and monthly close accounting experience

　　Advanced working knowledge and direct experience with all modules of Quickbooks and NetSuite

　　Detail-oriented; can work independently and manage workload with periodic manager check-ins

　　Experience with Expensify and Bill.com preferred

　　High trajectory of success demonstrated by academic, professional, or extra-curricular achievement

　　Deep expertise in Excel and Google Sheets

　　Desired Skills:

　　Experience with the nuances of a startup environment

　　CPA
