Description:
The senior accountant manages accounting records and is responsible to follow financial procedures, records and statements for compliance with laws and regulations.
Duties include management of an accounts payable/Expense Reimbursement resource, fixed assets as well as reconciling general ledger and bank reconciliations.
Journal entries – capital expenditures, payroll issues, fixed assets
Prepare documentation for External Auditors.
Analyze financial transactions for discrepancies and alert the Controller as necessary.
Contribute to annual audits.
Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Manage payroll for the institution as well as affiliate customers.
This position also supports the development of the budget and production of a management reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree must have - accounting, finance or business
CPA or MBA nice to have
Excel: Pivots VLOOKUP's
