  THE POSITION

  DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  This is a seasonal, semi-skilled laborer position at Fort Washington State Park Complex. In this position, you will be expected to complete all aspects of maintenance within the complex, which includes both Evansburg State Park and Fort Washington State Park.

  Major duties include but are not limited to opening and cleaning park restrooms, opening and closing gates, emptying trash receptacles, picking up litter, cleaning out pavilions, cleaning out picnic grills, mowing grass, and trimming weeds. Additional duties include painting, repairing facilities, woods mowing, installing/repairing park signs, posts, and road blocks, and assembling picnic tables. Some equipment used includes rotary mower, lawn tractors, front-end loaders, dump trucks, chain saws, and a wide variety of small hand and power tools used in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and masonry maintenance work.  Interested in learning more?   Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time seasonal employment with no benefits.Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.Will work 5 out of 7 days per week.Must be available weekends and holidays as needed.Salary:* *In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.   QUALIFICATIONS  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
