Role Overview:
Working in the Underground tunneling market in Eastern US building a solid network of contacts, delivering expertise to sales representatives and project managers. Key resource for all Tunneling projects. You will provide action plans and analysis for gaining business, which includes providing support for complex technical issues and assisting in product and sales training. You will maintain customer relationships by improving business at existing accounts; support newly attained “major” accounts and gain new business at as Tunnel Boring projects are specified. This position implements and complies with Company initiatives, policies, and procedures.
Experience:
Engineering degree required.
Ten years industry experience; 5 years sales
Excellent presentation and communication skills, executive selling skills and expertise, basic financial analysis skills.
Intermediate computer skills and detailed knowledge of industry
Responsibilities:
Accountable to RBSM for revenue & profitability improvement plans in his/her assigned area.
Provide action plans and analysis for gaining business, which includes providing support for complex technical issues and assisting in product training.
Must be physically capable of performing work duties in tunneling operations environment 2-3 times a week.
Be able to travel to projects in both Canada and United States.
Able to work with UGC team through weekly conversation and reporting.
Preparation of monthly sales report focusing on projects, potentials, internal improvement, and competitive activity.
Able to work with Cross Business Units and Cross Business Lines initiatives.
Attendance at pertinent organizations and trade shows
