A local automobile dealership is seeking a full time Automotive Technician.Qualifications:* Must have a minimum of 3 year's experience performing automotive diagnosis, problem solving and repairs.* Must have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing issues that affect how a car drives.* Must have your own tools.* Must have a valid driver's license.* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.* ASE Certification a plus.* Employment subject to background checkDuties:* Will prepare vehicles for resale.* Will take the issues out of the vehicles so our customers can drive reliable cars.* Will perform warranty work on engines, transmissions, water pumps, alternators, starters, etc.Hours: Will work 40 hours between 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and 1 Saturday per month.Wage: $15.00 to $23.00 per hour depending on qualifications; $250 insurance allotment; weekly bonus up to $150 depending on your time compared to flat rate; $75.00 monthly tool allowance;Benefits: Vacation leave, Sick leave, $250 insurance allotment, $75 monthly tool allowance, 401(k)Drug Free Environment
