Security Video Support Administrator
Position Description
The primary responsibilities of the Security Video Support Administrator are responding to requests for client security video, validating file accuracy, communicating with requesters, system troubleshooting and responding to legal requests and/or documentation. This includes:
Verifying all requests (internal/external) are summited correctly.
The necessary documentation is provided, validating the security system (NVR/cameras) are functioning.
Maintain confidentiality with regards to sensitive police or evidential/ operational support.
Experience of working with highly sensitive data and in a confidential information service setting; discretion and confidentiality of data handling is critical in these services.
Documenting all requests and accurately updating/completing case notes.
Performing security system troubleshooting and escalation
Initiating, coordinating and managing service calls Position Responsibilities Throughout each work day, the Security Video Support Administrator will review the security video request email box and respond/action appropriately
Respond to video requests sent outside of the request portal (Smartsheet form).
Escalate/archive emails as appropriate.
Support Client in producing strategic plans for client Security Video Processing and proactively seek methods of improving service delivery.
Respond to internal video questions from internal client groups as appropriate.
Providing user training and assistance with exporting video footage as needed by law enforcement or other personnel
Submit requests for equipment servicing.
Process requests for security video within 5-business days; prioritizing based on the nature of the request.
Address and/or respond to emails within 1- business day.
Create and maintain current practices, policies, and procedures related to client security video processing and distribution
Provide regular performance management updates for the service requiring statistical analysis.
Respond to urgent video requests/escalations as appropriate
Conduct internal audits and maintain records log
Close out requests that have exceeded 5-business days waiting for proper documentation.
Process new requests in the order received.
Ensure proper document is provided with each request.
Thoroughly document each request. Position Requirements The Security Video Support Administrator must meet the minimum position requirements documented below:
Have basic computer skills on Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Be proficient in reading and writing English.
Excellent, clear and concise written and spoken communication skills, across a broad range of management levels, including customers (internal and external), law enforcement officers, and attorneys
Operate advanced security systems and equipment (CCTV Security Cameras).
Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports prior to the end of their shift.
Develop and improve service quality by enhancing processes, delivering and monitoring training needs.
Ability to effectively manage projects
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner.
Ability to detect and correct grammatical and spelling errors in written correspondence.
Ability to understand and use web-based application software.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical county departments and agencies to derive solutions to technology issues.
Ability to initiate objectives with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish priorities and meet objectives.
Willing to work flexible hours including some unsocial hours, weekends, holidays, or nights if required
Perform other reasonable duties or responsibilities as needed.
Keep constant communication with the Security Supervisor to report any events/incidents that require security interference

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 0800-1600
In office for probationary period of 90 days. Hybrid remote options requiring minimum 3 days in office may be made available following probationary period, at AUS and Client Discression and can be revoked at anytime. Parking is not included, but free parking is available on public streets depending on availability.
Annual Pay Rate: 67,724.80 per year
