Summary About the Position: Serves as a Security Specialist (Operations) for the Joint Activities Command at Fort Liberty, NC. This is an obligated TERM NTE 3 years position. Responsibilities Serve as a Physical Security Technical Expert of the Security Support Division within a Specialized Security Assignment. Plan, develop, troubleshoots and implement new, modified, and/or upgraded programs and systems that are vital to the organization's mission. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Operation of technical security systems that includes electronic security such as Intrusion Detection (IDS) and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV); 2) Performing security of restricted areas and facilities and access control to protect classified information; 3) Maintenance and upkeep of technical security systems. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Physical Security Security Program Management Vulnerabilities Assessment Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
