Overview of this Position:
The Operations Technology Systems Administrator supports the Operations process in maintaining the smooth operation of all Serialization Application Systems and services as well as assisting in maintaining related hardware. Performs other duties as assigned to support a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Minimum 2 years Information Technology System Administration experience, with Pharmaceutical IT experience preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or comparable work experience.
Strong working knowledge of common computer software applications such as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox.
Ability to work within an After Hours On-Call Rotation in conjunction with the rest of the IT Department, focusing on Serialization support.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with regulatory compliance/pharmaceutical GMP preferred.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including creating/editing tables and queries preferred.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Create, maintain, and revise all documentation pertaining to Serialization Applications and processes; Adhere to proper cGMP documentation standards and practices.
Develop a strong professional relationship with vendors, co-workers, and clients.
Collaborate and communicate with vendors and other departments in the research, development, implementation, and support/troubleshooting of new and existing Serialization Application Systems.
Display a proactive methodology in regard to prioritizing and multi-tasking daily tasks and long-term projects.
Execute changes to Serialization Applications by following approved Change Control procedures.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Serialization Applications, processes, and equipment.
Provide and maintain training and technical documentation for all staff members.
Work with end users and clients to resolve technical issues and problems.
