As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol in Newark, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

Our team is seeking dedicated professionals to join us in a dynamic retail and mall environment. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This role requires an armed position, utilizing handcuffs and pepper spray, and a valid driver's license is necessary for job-related duties. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential as you interact with patrons and staff. Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.

Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have experience with armed handcuff usage.

Applicants must have experience with armed pepper spray usage.

A valid driver's license is required for positions in the job state.

California Security Professional Guard Card required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
