Concentrates on the safety and security of patients,visitors, and staff. Responding immediately to various levels ofdispatch calls as a visible deterrent, investigating unusualcircumstances, assisting with de-escalation, and security enforcement.Performs other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: 1 year ofsecurity experience or equivalent. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High schooldiploma or equivalent required. TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Proof of trainingin Froedtert-approved DAAT (Defense and Arrest Techniques) course withinprevious three years or the ability to obtain certification within 120days of hire is required which includes de-escalation training. Mustcomplete National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS-700 and the ICS-100 courses within six months of hire. Must have FTO (Field TrainingOfficer) program completed within 120 days. Training or academy may besite specific. Familiar with CCTV systems and operation is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50Lbsoccasionally. Push-Pull force generation up to 100Lbs occasionally.Occasional stair climbing. Frequent walking. Ability to get up and downfrom floor to standing independently. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Validdriver's license is required. American Heart Association (AHA) BasicLife Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approvedequivalent is required within three months of hire.
