As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM's clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

  Your Role and Responsibilities

  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Compliance Lead to support federal government clients by ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal regulations, possess strong leadership qualities, and have a proven track record of successfully managing security compliance & privacy programs. The Security Compliance Lead must provide thought leadership for our clients and serve as a trusted cyber security advisor. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks. Specific responsibilities include leading the compliance team through the following activities: * Assessment & Authorization (A&A) efforts * Development and implementation of security policies & procedures * Privacy Assessments * Conducting risk assessments * Identifying vulnerabilities and tracking remediation * Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards * Supporting incident response activities for security incidents * Identifying and mitigating risks

  Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  At least 7 years of NIST Risk Management Framework RMF experienceAt least 7 years of HIPAA / CUI Data Protection experience At least 7 years of Federal Information Security experienceAt least 5 years of Customer Interface experience At least 5 years of excellent communication & customer relation skills experience

  Must be clearable

  Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  At least 3 years of Project Management experienceAt least 3 years of Bid & Proposal Support experience

The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
