  The Section Manager for Electric Mobility (''E-Mobility'') / Electric Vehicles Strategy, Policy & Performance Analytics is responsible for leading the development, execution, tracking and monitoring of the strategy to ensure Con Edison and New York State clean transportation and e-mobility goals and targets are achieved.

  The Section Manager's team will be responsible for conducting analyses, developing and leveraging analytics tools, tracking and optimization of existing E-Mobility programs, designing new E-Mobility programs, developing and incorporating market intelligence, and partnering with staff across the E-Mobility department and external stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery aligned with state policy goals.

  The Section Manager and their team will also work closely with the E-Mobility leadership team to align the organization around a common strategy and support successful program design and implementation.

  Lead the work with the E-Mobility department teams as well as other internal stakeholders to shape, integrate, and optimize multi-year program portfolio goals and develop and prioritize strategic initiatives for each calendar year.

  Lead continual analysis of E-Mobility programs, clean transport market conditions, including demand for EV chargers and EVs, and various rate structures and EV station operating costs to recommend program design changes that allow for achievement of Company quarterly and annual targets.

  Monitor and ensure close integration with program operations of near-term strategy on a frequent basis and as part of an annual and multi-annual strategic plan.

  Lead the team that will develop analyses and partner with operational teams to implement effective adjustments to program, budgetary and regulatory needs and market changes.

  Co-lead and support E-Mobility regulatory needs including managing regulatory filings such as petitions and whitepaper comments - in conjunction with other internal departments and the Joint Utilities of New York - that convey the Company's position in E-Mobility related statewide proceedings.

  Co-lead and support forecasting efforts for transportation electrification and share findings with other departments within the Company to inform their work on preparing the electric grid to accommodate the associated load growth.

  Lead program financial forecasting and supervise the team that will plan and oversee weekly financially focused operations meetings that assesses department progress against targets and goals, including Earning Adjustment Mechanism goals. Document and monitor decisions and actions and report on progress to the department's leadership team.

  Lead cross-functional teams responsible for new strategic department initiatives that may arise from time to time.

  Provide problem solving, guidance, and strategic support to the department.

  Develop presentations and communications and represent the Company's interest to external stakeholders such as the New York State Department of Public Service Staff and other stakeholders as needed.

  Recruit, develop, and retain an engaged and diverse workforce.

  Actively support the professional development of the Strategy, Policy & Performance Analytics team.

  Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.

  Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

  Required Education/Experience

  Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' work experience with 3 years of relevant experience including in energy, utility, clean energy, electric vehicle, strategy, or other relevant industry. or

  Master's Degree and 6 years' work experience with 3 years of relevant work experience including in energy, utility, clean energy, electric vehicle, strategy, or other relevant industry.

  Preferred Education/Experience

  Master's Degree in business, sustainability, energy-related discipline, economics and 8 years' work experience 5 years business work experience including in energy, utility, clean energy, electric vehicle, strategy, or other relevant industry.

  Master's Degree MBA and 6 years' work experience 5 years business work experience including in energy, utility, clean energy, electric vehicle, strategy, or other relevant industry.

  Relevant Work Experience

  Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize data into business insights and effectively communicate the information in oral and written deliverables. Required and

  Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and comfortable leading and working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Required and

  Experience with financial analysis, Familiarity with utility financials a plus. Required and

  Demonstrated experience leading creative solutions to strategic challenges. Required and

  Strong communications, presentation, writing and analytical skills. Required and

  Demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to see the big picture and at the same time pay close attention to details. Required and

  Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Required and

  Demonstrated success leading business or corporate strategy development. Preferred and

  Demonstrated leadership of diverse, cross-functional teams to drive business results. Preferred and

  Experience and or knowledge of New York State regulatory environment and key stakeholders. Preferred and

  Experience presenting recommendations to senior executives. Preferred and

  Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive results by collaborating with stakeholders to build consensus. Preferred

  Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
