Secretary - Class B - Community Ed Full Time 260 days/8 hrs/day 8-4:30pm Location: Coon Rapids Family Place Provide secretarial support for Early Childhood Family Education and Preschool staff. Duties: Assist department with processes and program support including registration, record keeping, payroll, billing, customer service, communcation with Early Childhood families, and other general clerical duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; ability / desire to use computer for word processing, record keeping and information retrieval; good oral and written communication and organizational skills; accuracy and attention to detail; flexibility; ability / desire to work cooperatively with department, district staff and public; ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building. Preferred Qualifications: One year relevant experience and/or training preferred. Strong computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Filemaker Pro, Google docs, and web-based applications preferred. Experience working with online registration software preferred, (including ELEYO). Experience working collaboratively within a team setting preferred. Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment with frequent interruptions preferred. Rate of pay: $16.70/hour.
