About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees. Responsibilities Receive office visitors and telephone calls and disposes of routine matters personally that do not require the attention of superiors. Maintain current knowledge of director's weekly schedule and advises the director as to leave schedules of operating division chiefs. Remind supervisor of appointments, on own initiative reschedules appointments when it is evident that supervisor will not be able to meet the scheduled appointments. Discuss with superiors pending correspondence, calling to their attention scheduled deadlines, pending reports and other matters requiring their immediate attention.
