  Reference #: GAFLUS202310566EXTERNALENUSWhat You Will Do:Gannett Fleming is looking for a project manager to join its subsidiary, Gannett Fleming Valuation and Rate Consultants, LLC, in the Energy group.  This position can be based out of either our Camp Hill, PA or Saratoga Springs, NY offices.  Other locations or remote opportunities are also an option.The newly formed Energy group provides consulting support to a wide range of industry segments assisting clients to decarbonize their operations through emissions goal setting, emissions reduction strategies, evaluation of new technologies, planning and execution of renewable energy deployment, energy efficient and net zero energy building design support, policy analysis, and other value-added services leading toward decarbonization.Gannett Fleming Valuation and Rate Consultants, LLC provides litigation support, expert testimony and management consulting services to hundreds of electric, gas, water, wastewater and railroad companies throughout North America.  The firm is preeminent in the field of utility depreciation, providing detailed statistical studies of utility infrastructure such as power plants, electric grids, natural gas systems, and water and wastewater systems.As Project Manager, you will partner with the Valuation and Rates business line staff and other corporate disciplines in a highly collaborative manner to identify opportunities for the Energy team and to ensure the corporate disciplines successfully grow the energy or emissions related components of their projects.  In addition, the project manager will be tasked with identifying new projects and client opportunities specific to the Energy group.Responsibilities:Makes decisions on scoping and scheduling of projects. Prepares and/or ensures preparation of schedules for planning and execution of multiple concurrent projectsMonitors schedules and takes appropriate actions to ensure that projects are completed and delivered on schedule and within approved cost limitations; i.e., budgetParticipates in the development and issuance of project procedures and policies, as well as reviews and makes recommendations on those procedures and policiesWorks closely with client decision-makers to advise on energy matters and project executionUses independent judgement to make decisions to most effectively execute project deliverables and advise client decision-makersVisits various job sites as required in the performance of the above dutiesPerforms other related tasks as required by the projects and/or as assigned by senior level managementEducation | Experience:Minimum QualificationsB.S. Degree in Mathematics, Business, Engineering, Sustainability or related field or MBA with technical undergraduate degree5 - 10 years project management experience, PMP certification a plus2 - 5 years in a business development environment, direct business development expertise a plusProficiency in clean energy and decarbonization concepts including energy efficient buildings, alternative transportation (e.g., electric vehicles, biofuels, etc.), renewable energy development, climate, and energy policy, etc.Experience interfacing with clients, including providing project deliverables and reportsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and Access)Strong written and verbal communication skills requiredA motivated individual with a willingness and desire to learnAn ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently with strong time management skills in a team environmentWillingness for occasional travel to client sites Company Overview:At Gannett Fleming, we believe in improving the lives of the people we serve.
