As a Seasonal Tax Preparer working remotely, you will play a vital role in creating and delivering amazing customer experiences by resolving escalated or complex tax-related calls from customers. 　　Our TTEC work-from-home team has 40 preferred residency states. We are currently not hiring from the following geographies: AK, CA, HI or outside of the United States.  Residents of Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C. will be considered only based on special business need.

　　What You’ll be Doing

　　Do you have a passion for helping others and giving them peace of mind? You will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses. You will work with clients to gather their financial information and then use this information to prepare accurate and timely tax returns. You will also be responsible for answering client questions about tax laws and regulations.

　　During a Typical Day, You’ll

　　Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses

　　Gather client financial information

　　Use tax software to prepare tax returns

　　Calculate taxes owed

　　File tax returns with the IRS and state tax authorities

　　Answer client questions about tax laws and regulations

　　What You Bring to the Role

　　Current TPIN certification or ability to renew in a timely fashion

　　2 years of experience in tax preparation

　　Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations

　　Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

　　Strong communication and interpersonal skills

　　High speed internet (>15 mbps)
