EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
Conducts functional behaviorassessments and educational assessments, accurately identifying the function ofchallenging behavior and socially valid, pivotal behaviors to target
Develops strong collaborativerelationships and provides training to school staff to implement effectivetechniques across all environments, promoting progress and generalization
Provides ongoing supervisionand training of behavior technicians, paraprofessionals and related field staffensuring treatment integrity and supporting professional growth
Develops behavior goals andintervention techniques utilizing non-aversive behavior change methods
Determines prevention,intervention and consequence strategies according to the needs and abilities ofthe individual. Collect, analyze and report data and other paperwork within theestablished time frames to ensure program validity and efficacy
Performs other duties asassigned/necessary
MinimumRequirements:
Current Board CertifiedBehavior Analyst (BCBA), as certified by the Behavior Analyst CertificationBoard (BACB)
Preferred experience providingbehavior analytic programs in homes or schools
Current CPR certification
Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (asapplicable per state and/or client requirement)
Ability to effectivelyelicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, butnot limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communicationskills; proficiency in the English language may be required
Computer proficiency required
Must be at least 18 years ofage
