The Camera Algorithms Team is looking for an extraordinary engineer to help develop its next generation of computer vision and machine learning solutions.

Description
We are looking for a Machine Learning (ML) Development and Integration SWE who will join us to build Apple’s next-generation iPhone / iPad features. Strong fundamental software engineering skills are a must, and familiarity with Python, Objective C, C++, C, Metal, and/or Open CL is preferred. An ideal candidate should have experience with ML variants, including deep learning and fully convolutional neural networks. An ideal candidate should also have familiarity with ML applications such as detection, segmentation, and/or super-resolution (for example) on the device. Lastly, an ideal candidate should be passionate about bringing algorithms from research all the way to a product.
Education & Experience
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and two or more years of experience in a SWE role.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $198,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
