  of Openings1CategoryOperationsLocationUS-WA-Federal WayOverviewMES is looking for a Scheduling Coordinator (Remote) based out of our Federal Way, WA office who will be responsible for assisting and supporting our clients, physicians and examinees teams by scheduling and coordinating appointments, as well as scanning and sorting medical records.We are looking to bring someone on as soon as possible, so this person can be trained up and ready to hit the ground running!The pay range for this role is between $23-$24.This role is a full time position with a standard work schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00pm PST, with overtime as offered.ResponsibilitiesSchedules examinations through IME Centric or office specific system database.Greet, check-in, and gather necessary information from patients.Schedules and confirms appointment dates and times with physicians' offices. Ensures the appropriate steps are taken to cancel and/or reschedule services upon appointment change or cancellation.Communicates with clients regarding appointment scheduling, physician CV's, appointment changes, no shows, cancellations, and receipt of medical records and/or images.Coordinates with the client to obtain required medical records prior to examination.Prepares and sends exam notification letters daily.Communicates with physicians, clients and or examinees regarding any schedule changes. Responsible to submit client invoice and/or issue to accounting if charges are incurred.Coordinates ancillary services such as interpretation, chaperones, transportation, and or exam site rentals when needed.Handles and responds promptly to incoming calls, e- mails or faxes from physicians or clients requesting report status and/or informationPerform other duties as assigned.QualificationsScheduling Coordinators come from all different backgrounds including customer service, sales support, clerical, secretary, administrative assistant, receptionist, call center, retail and more!High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of one year related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in a medical office preferred.Ability to handle multiple phone lines with heavy call volume.Ability to operate computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephoneMust be able to type a minimum of 35 W.P.M.Must be able to multitask.Ability to follow instructions and respond to upper managements' directions accuratelyDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed.Must be able to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently.Must be able to maintain confidentiality.MES Solutions, a respected pioneer of the independent medical examination (IME) and peer review services industry, is setting the standard for independent review services nationwide. We handle evaluations for a variety of property and casualty insurers, self-insureds and third-party administrator's business lines such as: automotive, disability, liability, group health, long-term care, FMLA and workers' compensation. IME and Peer Review services play an important role in evaluating the appropriateness, medical necessity, cost, as well as certification of requests for care. IME services and Peer Review services are provided by MES Solutions, accredited by URAC for CORE Organizational Quality, and MES Peer Review Services, a URAC accredited Comprehensive Independent Review Org
