About Administrative Assistant for Nonprofit

  Develop and maintain knowledge of the recipients of Care and Share services and their needs. This includes fostering a supportive atmosphere where residents from diverse backgrounds are accepted, unique needs are addressed, trauma is acknowledged, and residents are self-directed in their life choices. 2. Develop and maintain effective communication with the Executive Director relative to the programs and services of the corporation. Assist the Executive Director in providing information to the Board of Directors including operational reports, fiscal reports, policy and procedure recommendations, and other operational concerns. 3. Support communication between the Director, staff, residents, and other agencies by timely communicating between the parties any messages, concerns, problems or other information necessary for the efficient functioning of the organization. 4. Assist the Executive Director in gathering information to support timely and effective grant proposals and contracts to State and private grantees. 5. Document private donations accurately for the purposes of bank deposits and thank you notes. 6. With Executive Director oversight order items necessary to support the facility such as paper items, cleaning supplies, small maintenance items and more for the purpose of facility upkeep and repair. 7. Assist the Executive Director with meeting staff needs including ordering office supplies, ordering security supplies, ordering kitchen supplies and ordering custodian supplies. 8. Assist the Executive Director with scheduling appointments and with coordination with other agencies. 9. Support the organization website and other social media by developing and maintaining organization accounts and posting information about the organization, events, needs, fundraising efforts, etc. with Executive Director oversight. 10. Participate in learning experiences for professional growth.
