At our company, you'll beequippedwith all the tools, training, and resources you need, and you'll beempowered to try new things, gain new experiences, and build a career withunlimited horizons.PURPOSESchedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments of largerfacility or multiple facilities to expedite production by performing thefollowing duties.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReviews master production schedule and work orders.Establishes priorities for specific customer orders.Revises schedule according to work order specifications, establishedpriorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts,material, machines, and equipment.Reschedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate machine setups.Distributes work orders to departments, denoting number, type, andproposed completion date of units to be produced.Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and toprovide information on changes in processing methods received from methods orengineering departments.Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures ofmachines and equipment to apprise production planning personnel of productiondelays.Maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production.Expedites production of spare parts and establishes delivery dates for spareparts orders.Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.

  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below arerepresentative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months toone year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
