JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARY: The Scale Operator is responsiblefor the accurate testing and recording of grain quality on incominggrain trucks. This is a hands-on position requiring tremendous attentionto detail, multi-tasking skills and professionalism. This is a full-timeposition: work hours will fall between 7am - 5pm., Monday-Friday.RESPONSIBILITIES: This position ensures grain is accurately processedand accounted for and delivers superior customer service in allcommunications and with internal and external customers. Specificresponsibilities include: Following established procedures collectssamples on incoming grain products, performs designated tests andensures product quality and compliance based on set benchmarks.Accurately weighs incoming and outgoing grain vehicles and documents alltest results using computer interface to verify proper billing andcustomer contract fulfillment. Performs administrative tasks (frontdesk/reception, filing, data entry) with the highest level ofprofessionalism while providing superior customer service to allinternal and exterior customers. Maintain and promote a strong safetyculture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seekassistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. A positive,proactive demeanor resulting in superior teamwork, mentoring, andcollaboration with team members while demonstrating a commitment toexcellence.
