This position is for a full-time, 12-month, unclassified, staff position.
Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in General Studies, Business, or other applicable field.
Four years of work experience in an office environment with at least one year in an education environment.
One year of demonstrated work experience with computer software, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe.
Exceptional time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with faculty, staff, and current and prospective students.
Valid Driver’s license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls.
Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 10 pounds.
Must be capable of sitting in a stationary position for 50% or more of work day.

Job Concepts
This position is responsible for the administrative coordination for the support and development of programs in the Business and Liberal Arts departments.
Examples of Work
Acts as administrative liaison between the Division Dean, the division full- time faculty, the division adjunct instructors, college department staff, and the college administrators.
Coordinate payroll documentation and processing with Dean, including leave requests, payroll entry, and paper timesheets as required.
Monitor and update the division budget; prepare check requests and purchase requisitions as needed.
Input fall, spring, winter, and summer teaching schedules, along with course fees, as appropriate, in the college student data system.
Prepare division academic and nonacademic contracts each semester or as needed.
Participate in onboarding for new full-time and adjunct faculty.
Assist faculty in resolving issues with computer systems.
Participate in professional development activities and meetings.
Maintain a calendar for division personnel to include division/campus due dates and events.
Schedule appointments for Division Dean and make travel arrangements for the Division Dean, when needed.
Work with Dean to organize semester registration events.
Coordinate with the Dean to prepare data for monthly and year-end reports for the division.
Assist Dean in maintaining files for division records.
Work with Physical Plant personnel to conduct inventory.
Submit work orders on division equipment as needed.
Update Master Syllabi for courses as needed.
Assemble program or course materials for submission to the Curriculum Committee, LCTCS Board of Supervisors, or Louisiana Board of Regents, as needed.
Actively participate in planning and preparing a corporate image campaign to recruit all students to the Division’s academic programs.
Advise students for all degree programs within the Division.
Participate in recruiting efforts for all degree programs within the Division.
Monitor retention rates in all degree programs within the Division and provide outreach to contact students at-risk.
Represent the College at scheduled events to promote academic programs.
Work evenings or weekends as needed for events and/or registration.
