　　Job description

　　Reporting to the Site Manager, the Scale Clerk contributes to thesuccess of the division by supporting the team in the administrativeaspect of receiving and shipping materials.

　　More specifically, your duties are as follows:

　　Perform the opening and closing of daily operations.

　　Greet customers in a courteous manner following our procedures andrequirements.

　　Open accounts for new customers.

　　Weigh material.

　　Inform customers of current metal prices.

　　Complete delivery orders in RECY software.

　　Confirm prices that do not appear in the system with the purchasingdepartment.

　　Make payments to customers.

　　Answer and redirect phone calls as needed.

　　Prepare shipping papers.

　　Follow up on material shipments.

　　Balance the cash register at the end of each day.

　　Communicate relevant information to receivers.

　　Prepare reports.

　　File documents.

　　Ensure calibration of scales prior to site opening.

　　Perform all other related duties.

　　Qualifications

　　One year experience in customer service or similar position.

　　Experience in the transportation field (an asset); or knowledge ofmetals an asset.

　　Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word).

　　Skills required:

　　Excellent Customer service.

　　Attention to details.

　　Creative.

　　Autonomy.

　　Ability to do basic calculations.

　　Honesty.

　　Working environment / Additional information

　　Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm + Saturday 8:00 am to12:00 pm

　　Full time, permanent position.
