In the role of BusinessManageryou will beworking in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.Purpose Function as a key business manager for the Department ofPhysical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) with department levelresponsibility for the day-to-day management of issues related togeneral operations, budgets, and personnel. The Business Manager will beinvolved in data management, generating clinical and financial reports,compensation, research, workforce assessment, and collaboration onclinic operations. Oversees utilization and financial tracking andreporting functions for PM&R. Assists with recruitment, onboarding,terminations, and assures all labor distribution transactionalrequirements are met consistently and accurately. Supports DA withbudget development, tracking and variance reporting. Assists Dept andprogram leadership with operational special projects across allDivisions and locations. Primary Functions * Identifies, enhances, andfollows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficienciesof the department and administrative staff. * Generates, analyzes, anddistributes monthly standard and ad hoc reports to DA, Chair, andFaculty. * Responsible for the development, coordination andmaintenance of department policies and procedures involvingpurchasing/accounts payable, compensation, supplies, and space. Assistsin the development of Departmental policy and procedure statements andimplement approved changes to assure compliance with institutionalpolicies. * Evaluates compliance with internal and external regulationsand manages daily operations, business affairs, and faculty affairs forthe department. * Oversees and originates programs and special projectsrelated to the department. * Oversee operational activities of thedepartment ensuring efficiency and compliance with department andinstitutional policies and procedures. * In collaboration with the DeptAdministrator, assists in preparation of the annual budget for PM&Rincluding projections of revenue and expense, misc funds, & grantprojections.
