Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SATCOM Field Support Administrator II to join the team at Stafford, VA.

　　The SATCOM Field Support Administrator II supports the team providing technical assistance and support for satellite communication systems deployed in the field. Their primary role is to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SATCOM equipment and networks.

　　Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

　　Travel to field sites as required

　　Support installing, configuring, and integrating SATCOM equipment, including antennas, modems, routers, switches, and associated hardware

　　Ensuring proper alignment, cabling, and equipment connectivity

　　Conduct system maintenance and monitoring, SATCOM network management, fault diagnosis, and resolution. They ensure all documentation and diagrams are current.

　　Experience/Education:

　　4 years+ related experience required

　　Bachelors Degree required

　　A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

　　Certifications:

　　DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification.Security Clearance:

　　Top Secret RequiredPhysical Requirements:

　　Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/walking/Talking and must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

　　Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another.

　　Maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

　　Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

　　The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

　　For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
