Position Summary
As an SAP Finance Lead, you will play a crucial role in providing expert guidance and support the implementation, customization, and optimization of SAP Finance modules. You will collaborate closely with end-users and Sr. Management to understand their business requirements, streamline financial processes, and drive successful SAP Finance system implementations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, general direction, etc. and in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations and ASP policies, procedures and guidelines, the duties and responsibilities of this position include:
· SAP Finance Implementation: Lead and participate in SAP Finance implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, data migration, testing, and post-implementation support.
· Financial Process Optimization: Analyze clients' financial processes and recommend improvements, leveraging SAP Finance best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
· Customization and Configuration: Configure SAP Finance modules to meet specific business needs, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and more.
· Integration: Collaborate with other SAP module consultants and teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules, such as SAP SD, MM, and PP.
· End-User Training: Develop and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they can effectively use SAP Finance modules.
· Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
· Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to SAP Finance modules and provide ongoing support to end-users.
· Compliance and Reporting: Assist clients in configuring SAP Finance for regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements.
· Stay Updated: Stay current with SAP Finance trends, updates, and new features to provide clients with the latest insights and recommendations.
· Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users and IT Teams to understand their business needs and provide ongoing consultancy to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP certification) is a plus.
Proven experience (7+ years) as an SAP FICO Consultant, with a track record of successful SAP FICO implementations.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience with SAP Finance and Controlling
Medical Device industry or medical field is a plus
In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules with strong understanding of financial business processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Project management skills are a plus.
Knowledge of industry-specific best practices in finance and controlling is an advantage.
SAP certification in Finance modules (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates) is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with SAP Firori.
