POSITION OVERVIEWThe Maintenance Engineer will evaluate CMMS (Maximo) data and attend daily update meetings with various production teams to identify bad actor equipment. They will organize and facilitate root cause investigations on significant failures. They will have to prioritize to ensure they are working on top site priorities. They will develop and implement solutions to improve equipment reliability and performance. Collaboration with other departments or stakeholders will be necessary. They will work with Maintenance Leads to optimize equipment care plans (spare parts, PM's, etc.).They will also be responsible for developing a comprehensive Maintenance training program including specialized training, identifying the resources to conduct training, and developing the execution plans to ensure that all shifts receive the training.They will also be the site focal point for raw material waste and cereal dust elimination. These items are typically identified by others, but will likely require equipment modifications to eliminate.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESModify/develop Care Plans for equipment ensuring spare parts and PM services are set up appropriately based on risk.Develop and propose equipment redesigns to address root causes of equipment breakdowns.Monitor equipment performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.Troubleshoot and diagnose problems. Develop and execute maintenance plans to minimize downtime and disruptions.Analyze data to identify trends, diagnose problems and develop solutions to improve equipment reliability and performance.Collaborate with production teams, management and suppliers to develop and execute maintenance plans that meet organizational goals and priorities.Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics and procedures to support maintenance activities.Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.Lead site team to eliminate/control dust generation sources in the plantCoordinate resources to carry out effective and efficient job training for the Maintenance TeamWork with SME's to create and update training materialsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related degree with applicable experience or extensive relevant work experience3+ years of manufacturing/related experience preferredStrong understanding of engineering principles and knowledge of equipmentExcellent interpersonal, communication and listening skillsMust have strong organization and time management skills with attention to detailAbility to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering5+ years experience in mechanical equipment designPrevious maintenance engineering or equipment design/redesign experienceADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONSInternational relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.COMPANY OVERVIEWWe exist to make food the world loves.
