　　Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAP ABAP Development Lead to join our team in the Ft. Detrick, MD area.

　　Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

　　Provide technical leadership to a team of SAP ABAP developers, guiding them in best practices, design principles, and coding standards

　　Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

　　Lead the design and development of complex custom programs, reports, enhancements, and interfaces using SAP ABAP

　　Collaborate with functional teams to understand medical logistics business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

　　Define and enforce architectural standards for SAP ABAP development, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with organizational goals.

　　Contribute to the design of overall SAP system architecture.

　　Oversee the optimization of existing ABAP programs to enhance system performance and efficiency.

　　Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to ensure the development of high-quality and efficient code.

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams, SAP consultants, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver effective solutions.

　　Communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Experience with large scale agile approaches such as SAFe

　　Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

　　7+ years experience as a SAP ABAP Developer with a proven track record of leadership.

　　Strong understanding of SAP modules, business processes, and advanced ABAP programming concepts.

　　Excellent knowledge of SAP development tools, debugging techniques, and performance tuning.

　　Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team effectively.

　　Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

　　Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, or other advanced SAP technologies is highly desirable.

　　Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment

　　Clearance Requirements:

　　Must be a U.S. Citizen; Can obtain a Public Trust clearance; and will be subject to a Tier 3 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility only. Candidates who have recently completed T3 investigations are a plus.

　　Physical Requirements:

　　The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

　　For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
