Job Overview
The Supply Planning team focuses on analysis to ensure that Supply Chain is aligned to deliver case fill rate and working capital targets, at lowest total delivered economic cost to the business. This role ensures planning systems and processes are aligned, facilitating successful execution across all planning and logistics functions.
This Manager, Supply Chain Planning position will provide the analysis to determine short, mid, & long-term plant production staffing/DC Replenishment that will ensure the KDP Supply Chain is set to service customer requirements at the lowest possible operating costs. This role would manage inventory replenishment settings for the region. (Plant and Distribution Centers).
Accountabilities
Work with Supply Planning team to resolve supply and capacity issues. Collaborate with plant and capacity planning teams to propose inventory transfers, line/plant capacity balancing, and other solutions to ensure Supply Chain objectives are met.
Support SAP APO-SNP System & Reporting development to flex to company needs and lead training sessions with Plant and Supply Chain critical contacts on system updates.
Conduct weekly Supply Review meetings with regional personnel (Territory Directors, Production Planners, and Transportation/Logistic Managers).
Partner with Demand Planning on regional ad activity and innovation/limited time offer SKUs
Resolve conflict/provide solutions by exercising high levels of influencing, negotiation and communication skills. Be proactive and address issues when they show.
Daily proactive data reviews to monitor inventory and out of stocks, and address service risks with Operations
Review weekly branch forecast performance to ensure weekly ad activity and demand are trending accurately.
Collaborate with Plant managers/production planning teams on their inventory production cycling, min/max compliance, and plant operating/staffing schedules.
Develop and assist with demand settings in SAP and APO to reinforce out of stock and DOS performance.
Manage master data changes and distribution for new/seasonal products and/or innovation items (includes run out and deletion).
Lead root cause & resolution of inventory related issues and be available as the Supply subject matter expert for the region (including plant)
Responsible to publish daily, regional dashboard and coordinate corrective action to drive KPI improvement.
Conduct scenario planning and develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions or supply chain issues.
Responsible for managing inventory settings seasonal updates, strategic inventory builds (kanbans), and regional sourcing changes.
Handle special projects as needed.
Travel 20-25%
Requirements
Experience/Education required: Bachelor Degree in a related field or 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning
Familiarity with ERP systems required (preferably APO, SNP, and SAP)
Heavy Excel experience required (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUPS)
PowerBI and Thinkcell experience preferred
Ability to tell a story with numbers and present findings and reporting to all levels of management required
