　　Starting at $17.94/hr. with $1.00/hr. night premium when working from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. A $1,500 sign-on bonus.

　　DFA Pollock has an immediate opening for S anitation Worker. No experience required; training provided. This position will work Monday – Thursday from 5:00 pm -1:00 am and Fridays from 2:00 pm -10:00 pm. Saturdays and Sundays are off days. Times may vary each day depending on production.

　　The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the production areas and equipment nightly.

　　JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

　　. Work with team to clean and sanitize the cheese production area including walls, floors, drains, pipes, equipment

　　. Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

　　. Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive

　　. Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

　　. Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment

　　. Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity

　　. Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF).

　　. Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals.

　　. Able to connect and disconnect pipes with clamps

　　. Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail.

　　. Must be dependable and reliable.

　　. Must have reliable transportation.

　　. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

　　. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

　　. Able to walk, bend, and stand for the duration of the shift.

　　. Must be able to work in a wet humid environment.

　　. Most weekends and holidays off.

　　Pollock is in a small community on beautiful Lake Oahe on the North and South Dakota border. The plant runs 24 hours 5 days a week and is a non-union plant that consists of around 40 employees.
