The Opportunity
This is a six-month paid internship starting between January and April 2024, depending on your availability. You’ll be onsite, working from our Barcelona, Spain office; a dynamic hub for our sales, marketing and technical teams. A Nutanix Sales Development internship is a launchpad for your studies; an opportunity to expand your professional skills, working alongside a supportive, innovative, and customer-centric Sales team.. Sales development is a critical team at Nutanix and helps us deliver consistent, seamless, and efficient revenue to fuel our organization, giving you valuable experience at the core of the pipeline generation process.

The Team
The Sales Development team at Nutanix is a diverse and global team spread across 4 continents, 8 countries, and speaking over 13 languages. Our team comprises exceptionally talented professionals with varied backgrounds and expertise, enabling us to collaborate to deliver outstanding results.

What You’ll Do
Utilising the skills from your degree, you will connect with prospects supplied by marketing teams on a one-to-one basis and through multiple communication avenues e.g., calling, LinkedIn messages, emails etc.
Identifyandnurturepotentialnewbusinessopportunitiesfor saleswiththeaimof growing the pipeline throughinbound and outbound initiativesand schedulefirst-call meetings with prospects for the field sales reps
Followuponallleadsgeneratedthroughmarketingcampaignstoensuretimely responsetopotentialcustomers.Provide ongoingfeedbackto marketingin orderto help improve targeting and lead quality
Maintain a high level of daily activity through calls, connections, emails and utilize a variety of prospecting tools to uncover relevantprospects to target
Workcross-functionallywithfieldsales,channel,andmarketingteamstodeliver meetings and qualified opportunities, and build new target account lists for sales led campaigns
Executeoutboundsalesledcampaignstodriveinnewbusinessacquisitionfor the assigned territory
What You’ll Bring
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at a Spanish university
Less than 2 years of related professional experience
Able to complete a 6-month internship, working full-time
A desire to work directly with customers, displaying excellent verbal and written communication skills and a customer-centric mindset
Tenacious and ambitious with a good work ethic and interest in selling
The ability to speak German at a Native level, along with an excellent level of writing, reading and spoken English
