Co-op - Electric Distribution Engineer

　　We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Co-op - Electric Distribution Engineer in our West Allis, Wisconsin location. This role will start in May 2024 and will require full-time presence. The hourly rate for this position is $20.84 with paid company holidays.

　　Job Summary

　　Job Responsibilities

　　As part of the Electrical Substation team, Engineering Co-ops support tasks associated with the overall planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of the electric distribution system.

　　Electrical engineering co-ops will have non-consecutive work assignments in several areas which may include Materials and Standards, Inspection and Maintenance, Planning Support, System Protection, or Reliability.

　　Civil engineering co-ops will support the engineering work group responsible for the design and analysis of steel, concrete and foundation structures and developing site plans and storm water drainage plans.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　High School Diploma, GED, or HSED

　　Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering degree.

　　Minimum GPA of 2.8

　　Students are expected to complete at least two work terms before graduation.

　　Valid Driver's License is required

　　End Date: 03/15/2024
