  If you are a student looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! This role is an exciting opportunity to support the HVACR Americas business. Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will support the aftermarket sales team and leadership to develop and deploy sales tools to support profitable growth. You will attend introductory training on Copeland's product offering and participate in "ride-alongs" with local sales managers to familiarize yourself with the product applications and the customers. You will have the opportunity to own the content on StorySlab (a sales enablement tool).

  AS A SALES AND CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT CO-OP, YOU WILL:

  Develop and deploy an evaluation process for customer requests for additional sales authorizations

  Liaise between the product management teams within Copeland and the outside sales force to ensure they are up to date on the latest industry and product information

  Develop a communication plan targeting wholesalers and contractors to drive adoption and usage of Copeland Mobile

  Depending on performance, you will have the opportunity to assume sales responsibility for a handful of smaller accounts. This would be an immersive experience handling a customer account in its entirety (with support from local sales leadership). Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, customer presentations and sales updates, branch calls, facilitating training, developing marketing plans in conjunction with the customer, and serving as the primary point of contact on any and all interactions

  REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering or related field

  Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester

  Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided

  PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  Undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering or related field

  Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher

  Sophomore or higher class status

  Has an interest in applying their degree to sales and customer-facing support

  Has strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

  Has the ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus
