　　A day in the life

　　In your role as a safety engineer, you play a crucial part in collaborating with various members of project teams to conceive, create, and ultimately provide secure and regulations-compliant products to meet the needs of our customers. This entails working closely with diverse professionals from different PSE (Product Safety Engineering) disciplines to ensure the seamless flow of essential feedback, insights, and deliverables concerning safety and compliance throughout the entire design process.

　　Your specialization lies in a range of critical areas, including risk analysis, systema calculations, and functional safety. Moreover, you possess an in-depth understanding of machinery related standards and regulations, allowing you to navigate the intricate landscape of safety and compliance with expertise and precision. Your expertise not only helps to ensure the safety of the products we develop but also fosters confidence among our customers and partners in the reliability and integrity of our offerings.

　　About the team

　　Today our Electrical design team is about 10 people. Each of them has specific and extensive knowledge and skills. We therefore strongly encourage using the individual's strengths to help others within the team, even if this individual is not part of the project. In this way we ensure that you do not become isolated within your project and that you remain connected with the rest of the team.

　　We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

　　Hamme, BEL

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Bachelors in Engineering or similar

　　CEMS (certified expert in machinery safety)

　　CEFS (certified expert in functional safety)

　　Extensive knowledge of European and American design standards

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Master Electrical Engineering or similar

　　Good communication skills (Oral and Written)
