　　This position is responsible for ensuring the El Dorado CorrectionalFacility meets or exceeds all sanitation, safety and fire regulationsthat are applicable to the facility during normal and emergencyoperations. The incumbent is responsible to conduct thorough, technicaland comprehensive fire safety, health/sanitation and industrial safetyinspections, enforcement and consultative services. Additionally, theincumbent prepares reports of findings of all areas at the El DoradoCorrectional Facility for compliance following KSFM, KDHR, KDHE, OSHAand any applicable state and federal laws, rules, regulations andstandards pertaining to fire safety, health/sanitation and industrialsafety through the Policy Compliance Officer to the Warden. Theincumbent conducts fire, health/safety and industrial education programsto include training of EDCF basic education classes, EDCF annualeducation classes and outside agency supervisors annual educationclasses along with other safety education programs. The incumbent alsodirects hazardous material and waste activities for the control andaccountability of all hazardous material and waste profiles.
