A Day in the Life
Medtronic is currently searching for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our growing team at the Billerica facility.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Establishes, modifies, and upholds quality standards and protocols for processing materials into finished or semi-finished products.
Works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement and maintain quality standards.
Develops and executes methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating product precision and equipment accuracy.
Designs or specifies inspection and testing equipment, conducts quality assurance tests, and conducts statistical analyses to assess costs and determine responsibility for products that do not meet standards.
Ensures that corrective measures meet reliability standards, and that documentation complies with requirements.
Specializes in various areas such as design, material sourcing, production control, product evaluation, and research and development to improve product and process quality.

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
