Job Description Principle Duties andResponsibilities: Essential Functions: Safely perform aircraft removal,installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (which mayinclude galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors andpanels). Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliancewith Repair Station procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offsand quality specifications. . Use the material tracking system to createparts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work. Follow standardoperating procedures when using tools and equipment such as hand tools,band saws, shears, sanders and brakes. Properly care for and maintainshop equipment and tools. Prepare and install aircraft interior items inaccordance with company operation procedures and quality standards.Remove and re-install nut plates, inserts and other fasteners used inaircraft interiors. Apply proper use of hardware and fittings onaircraft installations. Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeepingpolicies and use personal protective equipment as required. Addressunsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk. Assisttechnicians, under supervision, with aircraft maintenance requirements.Adapt to sudden schedule changes. Additional Functions: Work with leadand higher skilled technicians to develop and implement processimprovements that reduce cost, cycle time, and man-hours using Lean SixSigma and other process improvement techniques. .
