　　Welcome to the world of solving complex integration problems for ServiceNow customers! We work on Integration Hub, developing core features like protocol steps, third-party integrations, Data Streams, no-code/low-code tools, licensing, and usage tracking.

　　As we continue pushing the boundaries of integrations, we seek passionate engineers who can rapidly acquire new knowledge and contribute to developing robust and scalable solutions.

　　*What you get to do in this role: *

　　70 – 80% Back End Development (Java) and the rest would be Front End (JavaScript, React)

　　Help design, develop, and maintain robust solutions to support complex integrations.

　　Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)

　　Work with product owners and senior engineering peers to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

　　Implement software that is simple to use and allows customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs.

　　Deploy and manage reusable services.

　　To be successful in this role you have:

　　Experience with Java or similar object-oriented language, architectural design, API definition, JVM stack, and memory management.

　　Good working experience with JavaScript, React or other modern UI frameworks.

　　Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.

　　Good understanding of transport protocols e.g. SSH, SFTP, HTTP.

　　Experience working with relational databases.

　　Experience with agile development tools and practices

　　Nice to have:

　　Kubernetes knowledge

　　Enterprise software development

　　6+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language

　　Good experience with JavaScript, React or other modern UI frameworks.

　　Demonstrated proficiency with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.

　　For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $158,500 - $277,500, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
