Job Description Principle Duties andResponsibilities: Essential Functions: Demonstrates basic technicalskills in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing andtroubleshooting. Under supervision, performs the installation andfunctional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems perEngineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals ensuring adefect free system. Assists in ensuring quality and efficiency of allinstallations. Troubleshoots processes/concepts to provide timely,quality repairs of malfunctioning systems. Acquires and demonstrates theskills and knowledge required. to effectively and efficiently repair orreplace defective components and wiring to ensure installations meetconformity. Demonstrates effective repair techniques using acceptablepractices including splicing, soldering and pinning of wiring. Performsand complies with engineering changes and modifications as required.Assists in set up and operation of necessary test equipment; conductsfunctional and operational tests to evaluate performance andreliability. Under supervision, ensures that all work performed on theaircraft is properly and completely documented and ready for inspection.Tests and maintains test equipment, electronic systems, and components.Complies with the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S programand all safety regulations. Additional Functions: In support of aircraftcertification and final phase testing, may include flight tests onaircraft as required. . Perform other duties as assigned.
