Reference #: 8072The Rotational Project Engineer (RPE) position offers the opportunity to learn all facets of the construction management business through rotating hands-on experience in project and cost management, field supervision, estimating and safety over a two to four-year period.  In this role RPEs will be exposed to all aspects of the construction process through rotating assignments in a series of progressively more responsible positions.  Mentoring and practical experience combine to develop construction management skills in an area of specialization.  Upon program completion, Rotational Project Engineers may become Assistant Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, Estimators, etc.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Operations RotationTake direction from and support the Project Manager and/or Superintendent on assigned project tasksEstimating RotationTake direction from and support senior team members on estimating duties as assignedGeneralDemonstrate understanding of our core values: Culture of Safety, Client First, Integrity & Transparency, Collaboration, Innovation and ExcellenceBe an ambassador for and support LFD's Safety 360 initiativeParticipate in RPE Programs, such as annual BootcampOther duties as assignedB.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, related disciplineStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all timesAbility to understand and follow directionsGood time management and organizational skillsAbility to read drawings and specificationsProficiency in Excel requiredExperience with Plangrid & Bluebeam preferredWe are a dynamic organization with great customers and a culture where people are valued and empowered to deliver amazing results.
